We’ve gone back to basics with this tasty smashed avo recipe.
We love how a few simple, high-quality ingredients can satisfy your taste buds, tummy and soul!
- 1 sourdough loaf
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- 2 Avocadoes
- 1 jar goats cheese
- Olive oil
- Coarse salt
- Cracked pepper
Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat.
Cut 4 thick slices from the sourdough loaf, brush with olive oil on both sides and rub with the garlic clove.
Grill bread on both sides until char marks appear.
Meanwhile, mash the avo with a fork and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Now it’s time to construct!
Butter the sourdough and divide avocado between the slices.
Take 2 cubes of cheese and lightly crush them with a fork to flatten slightly. Place onto of avo and repeat for each slice.
