When iceberg lettuce is super fresh and crisp you don’t need to do much to it at all!
Simply slice into wedges and serve with thinly sliced fennel spritzed with lemon juice.
- 1 iceberg lettuces, outer leaves removed and sliced into wedges
- 1 fennel, outside layer removed
- 2 lemons
- Coarse salt
- Cracked pepper
- Blue Cheese Dressing of choice
Thinly slice the fennel and spritz over lemon juice.
Lay iceberg lettuce wedges on a platter with the fennel slices and fennel fronds.
Season with salt and pepper and serve with blue cheese dressing.
